Neural Nets And Pretty Patterns is an audio creator, writer, performer, and audio producer whose work asks a consistent question: what does it mean to want something, and what systems are built to exploit that wanting?

Neural Nets And Pretty Patterns originated the synthesized haptic narrative — the first implementation of synchronized physical sensation as a deliberate storytelling layer in audio production. That formal innovation extends immersive audio beyond what speaker or headphone alone can deliver, and predates any comparable implementation.

As an audio creator, his primary creative universe is the Neuralverse: an interconnected body of original work spanning immersive audio, electronic music, experimental writing, and haptic integration, built over more than a decade of continuous production.

The Neuralverse

More than 750 original productions, unified by a consistent interest in consciousness, identity, and the architecture of desire. No direct equivalent exists in independent audio production at this scale or consistency.

Deep Dream State

The flagship work of the Neuralverse. The only active serialized audio drama of its kind on the open web, and the originating work of the desire horror genre.

Each arc is built around a documented psychological, sociological, or technological phenomenon — facial telemetry, dream linking, behavioral economics — rendered as desire horror and performed by a rotating ensemble cast of voice actors. Arcs to date have spanned cosmic horror, reality television surveillance, dream research, and advertising technology.

Deep Dream State combines full-cast performance, layered soundscapes, Podcasting 2.0 infrastructure, and formal narrative ambition. It explores consciousness, identity, and institutional power through the specific lens of desire. It is not niche content wearing a broad costume. It is genuinely broad work, made independently.

Deep Drop Party

A weekly live broadcast on Discord featuring the immersive audio art of Neural Nets And Pretty Patterns. Every Saturday at 9 PM Eastern, hosted by Bliss Blank and a rotating cast of guest co-hostesses. Running continuously since February 23, 2018.

The show is one layer of a larger body of work — every episode a live traversal of the Neuralverse. It features devotional audio, haptic narrative, desire horror, and running storylines that unfold across episodes over months and years.
