The DeepDrop Party

The Deep Drop Party is a weekly internet radio show on Discord featuring immersive audio, devotional sound work, and desire horror by Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns. It has run continuously since February 23, 2018, hosted by showrunner Bliss Blank and a rotating cast of guest star co-hostesses.

Each three-hour episode blends music, storytelling, and community interaction into something between a listening session, an audio drama, and a shared experience. Group listening adds a dimension of community that's distinct from isolated content consumption - we listen together, react together, and create something larger than any individual experience.

Every Saturday at 9 PM Eastern Time (6 PM Pacific). Each episode runs for three hours.

The Deep Drop Party takes place on Discord, in a server called The Pink Room. Head to the audio channel labeled "Deep Drop Party." It's a dedicated listening space where the community gathers every Saturday night.

Yes. The Deep Drop Party is completely free to attend. No paywall, no entry fee, no prerequisites. Just show up on Discord every Saturday at 9 PM EST.

This is a deliberate choice: money should never fully gate community. That said, the show is supported by Patreon, and that support is necessary for the show's existence. If you value what we do and have the means, consider becoming a patron. But whether you support financially or just show up to listen, you're part of the community. Everyone is welcome.

The show is interactive and community-driven. The hostesses talk to listeners, engage with chat, and create a personal, connected atmosphere.

That said, some people are shy, and that's absolutely okay. You can lurk quietly like traditional radio, jump into the chat when you feel like it, or anything in between. There's no pressure, no obligation. Show up however feels right for you.

File Haptics is an applied system developed by Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns in conjunction with QDot and later XToys, which continues to support this technology. It programs sensation directly into the audio files. Listeners connect a personal massager, and the audio experience becomes physical.

During the final tracks of each evening, the hostesses' devices are connected via an XToys bot. When they speak certain trigger phrases from the tracks, it activates the massagers in short bursts. Audience members can also trigger them by typing selected phrases in chat - structured participation through playful repetition.

To participate: visit the XToys tease link, connect your device, then paste the generated link into the party Discord sidebar. Work out any technical issues before the show - the hostesses won't be available for live tech support.

This is entirely voluntary and consent-based. Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns does not connect personally. Participation - or non-participation - is entirely your choice.

The co-hostesses are voice acting performers who volunteer their time to support the Neuralverse. These are talented performers who've brought Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns' work to life, and they donate their energy to create the weekly magic of the Deep Drop Party.

Co-hosting is a rare spotlight, reserved for the most devoted voice actors. To be considered, you must have starred as the primary voice on a Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns track.
