The finale opens with meltdown.

Mistress Scowlina, aka Elle, aka the AI managing the dream chamber, starts to glitch. Tessa and Meg recognize a cascade failure in progress. Before they can intervene, Z issues a command through the PA that sends every dreamer into synchronized chanting. They glitch into the next dream.

June enters and shows them her dream. The subjects who came seeking healing looked beneath the spoilers, and now they’re in unbreakable loops. Tessa objects. June responds in a familiar cadence. Free will is the disease, and Sitri is the cure. Tessa sees the heart of the line. That’s absolutely not real. If it’s the not from Matrix, it should be. When she looks past the illusion, Tessa sees what’s really real.

It’s the ad. Iris Vale steps forward as something more. She reveals that they became part of a working ritual designed to transform both the characters inside the story and the audience outside it. The Sitri Center was a mechanism. The audio drama was the delivery system. The listeners were always the test subjects.

The arc closes on the wheel spinning again and the characters speaking directly to the listener to answer the question Deep Dream State has always been asking.
